Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe - Epcot
Over Thanksgiving Break, we stopped at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot to check out their newest gluten free dessert option.
Even though we had advance dining reservations at Coral Reef in an hour, this was our last day at Epcot, and I wanted to try the chocolate cake with banana mousse.

Electric Umbrella - Epcot
February 17, 2020 Update - the Electric Umbrella has permanently closed
Last month, I had lunch at the Electric Umbrella, a quick service restaurant in Future World at Epcot.
I wanted something light to eat, and had found a healthy looking option that interested me in the My Disney Experience app.

La Hacienda de San Angel - Epcot
Last week, my daughters and I had dinner at La Hacienda de San Angel, a table service restaurant at the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot.
We love to dine at La Hacienda de San Angel, because we enjoy Mexican cuisine, and the restaurant has incredible views of the World Showcase Lagoon.

Tutto Italia Ristorante - Epcot
On Saturday night, we had dinner at Tutto Italia Ristorante in the Italy Pavilion at Epcot.
Tutto Italia, a table service restaurant, is not Disney owned and operated, so it does not have an allergy-friendly menu like so many restaurants at Disney World, but they do have a menu that lists gluten-friendly dishes.

Katsura Grill - Epcot
During our trip to Disney World in July, I had lunch at Katsura Grill, a quick service restaurant at the Japan Pavilion in Epcot.
My daughters wanted to have lunch at La Cantina de San Angel, but I was not in the mood for Mexican food, so we stopped at both.

Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar - Epcot
Earlier this month, we dined at Tutto Wine Cellar in the Italy Pavilion at Epcot.
Tutto Gusto has long been one of my gluten-eating family's favorite restaurants at Epcot, and we frequently dine there, especially when we are at Disney World with my parents. Tutto Gusto does not accept advance dining reservations, but we have never had to wait long for a table, and usually, we are able to be seated right away.

Maple Popcorn - Canada Pavilion at Epcot
We don't snack much between meals when we are at Disney World, but I had to try the maple popcorn at the Canada Pavilion in Epcot on our recent trip.
Maple popcorn was introduced at Disney World early last year in Frontierland at the Magic Kingdom. Sadly, it is no longer available there, but at least I can still enjoy it at Epcot.

Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival 2016
This post was updated with new food reviews on March 17, 2016
The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival started earlier this week, and runs through May 30th.
For the third year in a row, gluten/wheat friendly options are marked in the Garden Passport, and for the first time, they are also noted on the large menu signs at each outdoor kitchen. The passport contains this disclaimer, which is very similar to what you see on allergy-friendly menus at Disney World - "You may consult with a chef or special diets trained Cast Member before placing your order. We use reasonable efforts in our sourcing, preparation and handling procedures to avoid the introduction of the named allergen into these menu choices; however, it is possible for the allergen to be introduced before the food is provided to us or inadvertently during our preparation or handling. We do not have separate kitchens to prepare allergy-friendly menu items or separate dining areas for guests with allergies or intolerances."

La Cantina de San Angel - Epcot
This post was last updated September 2, 2018
When La Cantina de San Angel opened in the Mexico Pavilion, it quickly became my favorite quick service restaurant at Epcot, because everything on the menu was gluten free except the chicken tenders on the Kids' Menu, and their churros. My favor ite meal was the Empanadas con Queso, which used to be gluten free. Everything changed when the empanadas were switched from being made with corn tortillas to flour tortillas, which made that menu item off limits for me, and contaminated their fryers.
For years, we did not dine at La Cantina de San Angel, but I recently stopped there to inquire about gluten free options. I was told that the following entrees are gluten free:

- Pollo Cascabel - grilled chicken, Mexican rice, corn, Cascabel sauce, and pickled onions
- Tacos de Barbacoa - seasoned beef, homemade corn tortillas, Mexican rice, black beans, and red salsa
- Tacos de Pollo - seasoned chicken, homemade corn tortillas, Mexican rice, black beans, and red salsa
The tortilla chips are not gluten free, because they are made in a shared fryer. For dessert, they serve watermelon, mango, lime, and coconut paletas, which are traditional fruit popsicles, and they are all gluten free.

Last updated January 10, 2019
Earlier today, we had lunch at Nine Dragons Restaurant, a table service restaurant in the China Pavilion at Epcot.
In the 7 1/2 years we have lived in Orlando, we have only eaten at Nine Dragons Restaurant twice, because their gluten free options are very limited.

Tokyo Dining - Epcot
Earlier today, my husband and I had lunch at Tokyo Dining in the Japan Pavilion at Epcot. I was excited to try it for the first time after reading my friend Amanda's review on her blog Eating Out Without...Gluten and Dairy.
Tokyo Dining is not a Disney-owned and operated restaurant, so they do not have an allergy-friendly menu like the ones adopted earlier this year at table service and quick service restaurants at Disney World.
