My Favorite Table Service Restaurants at Disney World

Updated December 2, 2018

Last weekend, I updated My Favorite Quick Service Restaurants at Disney World post, which you can view here. Today, I am tackling my favorite table service restaurants, starting with some of my favorites at Disney Springs and the Disney Resorts, where no park pass is needed. My family prefers to eat at table service restaurants, because we feel the quality of the food is better, there are more gluten free options for me, and we like to sit and relax a couple of times each day during our Disney vacations. Links to more detailed, specific reviews are found throughout this post, including the headings.

Sanaa, which features African cooking with Indian flavors, is probably our favorite restaurant at Disney World. I love that I can watch the animals on Sunset Savannah, while I enjoy gluten free naan with accompaniments, lamb shank, butter chicken, and their amazing triple chocolate mousse dessert. Sanaa is open for breakfast (quick service), lunch, and dinner, and it is our top pick for holiday meals, including Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.

The Plaza Restaurant - Disney's Magic Kingdom

There are two reasons that we go to The Plaza Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom at Disney World - milkshakes and Chef Ken.

The Plaza Restaurant is a table service restaurant located at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. I had lunch there with my daughters in July, during our summer trip to Disney World.

Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar - Disney Springs

During our trip to Disney World in July, my daughters and I had dinner twice at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar in Disney Springs.

The restaurant, which is described on Disney's website as a "1940s airplane hangar turned dive bar," is themed around Jock Lindsey, Indiana Jones' pilot in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Morimoto Asia - Disney Springs

During out trip to Disney World in July, my daughters and I had dinner at Morimoto Asia, a table service restaurant in Disney Springs.

Morimoto Asia is not Disney-owned and operated, so they do not have an allergy-friendly menu. Gluten free options are noted on their regular menu with a small red symbol.

Be Our Guest - Disney's Magic Kingdom

During our trip to Disney World in July, we had breakfast at Be Our Guest in the Magic Kingdom.

For breakfast and lunch, Be Our Guest is a quick service restaurant, but for dinner, it is a table service restaurant featuring a 3-course, price fixed menu.

Katsura Grill - Epcot

During our trip to Disney World in July, I had lunch at Katsura Grill, a quick service restaurant at the Japan Pavilion in Epcot.

My daughters wanted to have lunch at La Cantina de San Angel, but I was not in the mood for Mexican food, so we stopped at both.

Mochi Ice Cream - Japan Pavilion at Epcot

During our trip to Disney World in July, we stopped at the Japan Pavilion in Epcot to see if they still offered mochi ice cream.

The mochi ice cream is available at a small cart towards the back of the Japan Pavilion.

Satu'li Canteen - Disney's Animal Kingdom

In July, my daughters and I stopped at Satu'li Canteen, a quick service restaurant in Pandora - The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

I wanted to have lunch at Nomad Lounge, one of my favorite restaurants at Disney World, but my girls wanted to eat at Satu'li Canteen, so we decided to go to both.
