Everything POP Dinner - Disney's Pop Century Resort

Last night, my daughters and I had dinner at Everything POP Shopping & Dining at Disney's Pop Century Resort.

Everything POP is one of our favorite quick service restaurants for breakfast at Disney, because they make amazing gluten free waffles, but this was our first time dining there for dinner.

Everything POP Gluten/Wheat Allergy-Friendly Lunch/Dinner Menu - Disney's Pop Century Resort

Earlier this summer, my daughters and I had breakfast at Everything POP Shopping & Dining, which is one of our favorite quick service restaurants at Disney World for gluten free waffles.  While there, I took pictures of their allergy-friendly breakfast menus, which you can view here.

The Artist's Palette - Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort

This morning, I had breakfast at The Artist's Palette, a quick service restaurant at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort.

The inspiration for Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, located in the Downtown Disney area, was New York's Saratoga Springs, a late 1800's retreat famous for its spas and horse racing.

Grand Floridian Cafe Lunch - Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Yesterday, we had lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

The Grand Floridian Cafe, a table service restaurant, serves American classics for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  I have had amazing meals at The Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast and dinner, so I was excited to dine there for lunch, and see their new allergy-friendly menus, which list options for people with gluten/wheat, milk, egg, soy, fish/shellfish, and peanut/tree nut allergies.

The Bistro on Park Avenue - Winter Park

Last night, we had dinner at The Bistro on Park Avenue in Winter Park.  I was excited to try it after reading my friend Amanda's glowing review on her blog Eating Out Without.

The Bistro on Park Avenue can be a bit hard to find, though there was signage on Park Avenue pointing guests back to the Hidden Garden where it is located.

Maeda-en Mochi Ice Cream Bonbons

A couple of weeks ago, my husband discovered Maeda-en Mochi Ice Cream Bonbons while shopping at one of our local Asian markets on Colonial Drive.

I love mochi and I love ice cream, so I was really excited to try the mochi ice cream bonbons, which are labeled gluten free.  Mochi, a Japanese-style dough made of pounded rice, is wrapped around the ice cream to form the bonbons.

Spice Road Table - Epcot

Last Saturday, we had lunch at Spice Road Table, a table service restaurant in the Morocco Pavilion at Epcot.

Whether you sit inside or outside, you will have great views of the World Showcase Lagoon.  When Spice Road Table first opened last year, it served Mediterranean small plates, but now they also offer specialty entrees.  Other changes from when we first dined there are that you can now make advance dining reservations, and they offer a discount to Tables in Wonderland card holders.

Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe - Downtown Disney

Update - Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe is scheduled to close on August 1, 2017.  It looks like they will be getting a new location in the Town Center area of Disney Springs.

Yesterday, we had dinner at Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe in Downtown Disney for the first time in about 6 or 7 years.  During my family's annual trips to Disney, before we moved to Orlando, we used to frequently dine at Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe or Wolfgang Puck Express.

IKEA Gluten Free Cakes

A couple of weeks ago, I found out that IKEA sells gluten free cakes, so I headed there this week to check them out.

The Orlando IKEA, which is next to The Mall at Millenia, has three different varieties of gluten free cake, which are all priced at $5.99.  The only one I didn't buy was the almond cake with milk chocolate and butterscotch, because I don't always love butterscotch, but after one of my blog readers described it as "AWESOME" on my Facebook page, I decided that I need to take another trip to IKEA soon.

Raw Cashew Butter

Some of my favorite healthy lunches are apple slices with sharp cheddar cheese or Kerrygold Dubliner, and cashew butter with apples or bananas.

For a while, I was buying cashew butter from Whole Foods, but their cashew butter grinder broke, so I decided to make my own in my NutriBullet.

Toasted - Winter Park & Lake Nona

Earlier today, I had lunch at Toasted in Lake Nona.  Two years ago, I discovered Toasted using the Find Me Gluten Free App.  Their first restaurant is in Winter Park, just a couple of miles from my house.  Toasted, a fast casual restaurant, is on my list of best restaurants for gluten free dining in Orlando, because we love their food, and they have great protocols in place to protect gluten free dishes from cross contamination.

I was excited to see that Toasted now has a gluten free menu, and I was told they have a vegan menu too.

Starbucks - Animal Kingdom

A couple of weeks ago, we had a chance to check out the new Starbucks at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Starbucks has six stores at Walt Disney World.  They are located in the Magic Kingdom on Main Street U.S.A., in Epcot in Future World, on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood Studios, and at Downtown Disney on the West Side, and in front of the World of Disney store at the Marketplace.  In the Animal Kingdom, the Starbucks is located in the Discovery Island area of the park, near the Discovery Island Allergy Kiosk.

I was happy to see that they had La Boulange gluten free marshmallow dream bars.  If you are using the Disney Dining Plan, you can use one of your snack credits to purchase a marshmallow dream bar at any of the Starbucks locations at Disney World.

This post was last updated May 31, 2017

This morning, my daughters and I had breakfast at Trattoria al Forno on Disney's BoardWalk with my friend Sarah from Gluten-Free & Dairy-Free at WDW.

Trattoria al Forno, a table service restaurant serving Italian food, recently adopted allergy-friendly breakfast and dinner menus.  The new allergy-friendly menus that are being introduced at Disney World and Disneyland between April and September list options for people with gluten/wheat, milk, egg, soy, fish/shellfish, and peanut/tree nut allergies.

Teppan Edo - Epcot

A couple of weeks ago, Mary Roelle, one of my blog readers, wrote a great review of her family's breakfast at Chef Mickey's.  During her recent trip to Disney World, she dined with her sister Jennie and their children at Teppan Edo in Epcot.

Coral Reef Restaurant - Epcot

Earlier today, we had lunch at Coral Reef Restaurant, one of our favorite restaurants at Epcot.

Coral Reef, a table service restaurant located at The Seas with Nemo & Friends, is open for lunch and dinner.  I love all the underwater theming, and every table has views of the aquarium, so you can watch turtles, sharks, stingrays, a variety of fish, and even some humans swim by as you dine.  Be sure to ask for a table near the windows, or one near the middle of the restaurant for the best views of Disney's living coral reef.

Captain's Grille Allergy-Friendly Dinner Menu - Disney's Yacht Club Resort

Yesterday, I stopped by the Captain's Grille at Disney's Yacht Club Resort to see their new allergy-friendly menus, which list options for people with gluten/wheat, milk, egg, soy, peanut/tree nut, and fish/shellfish allergies.

The Captain's Grille is a table service restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  You can view their allergy-friendly menus for breakfast and lunch in my breakfast and lunch reviews.

The Wave Breakfast - Disney's Contemporary Resort

Yesterday, my daughters and I had breakfast at The Wave...of American Flavors, a table service restaurant at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Whispering Canyon Cafe Dinner - Disney's Wilderness Lodge

Last night, I had dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge with my friends Sarah and Amanda from Gluten-Free & Dairy-Free at WDW and Eating Out Without.  Earlier this summer, my daughters and I had a great breakfast and lunch at Whispering Canyon, so I was excited to try it again for dinner, for the first time in probably 5 years.

Whispering Canyon Cafe's allergy-friendly menus have so many gluten free dishes to choose from, it makes it hard to decide what to order, but I ended up picking an old favorite, the All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Skillet.

Biscuit Pancakes

As far as cooking goes, my father likes to grill, and he likes to cook breakfast. He used to make Mrs. Packard's Pancakes, which we called biscuit pancakes when we were kids, because they are so thick, and tasted like a cross between a biscuit and a pancake. The past two Sundays, we have made them at home using Cup4Cup flour and gluten free breadcrumbs. My daughters, who usually complain about pancakes, and take a lot of prompting to eat more than one, ate two biscuit pancakes without complaint. That's a win in my book!

We like to serve our biscuit pancakes with butter and jam, which is how I ate them growing up.

Flame Tree Barbecue - Disney's Animal Kingdom

Earlier today, we had lunch at Flame Tree Barbecue, a quick service restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom.  It was closed for refurbishment earlier this year, but it reopened this summer with a new look and some new menu items.

I did stop at the Discovery Island Allergy Kiosk before deciding where to go for lunch, but their Allergy-Friendly Dining Tips pamphlet does not have up-to-date information about Flame Tree Barbecue.
