This post was last updated August 19, 2018

Sunshine Seasons in The Land Pavilion at Epcot is a great quick service option, because The Grill station is 100% gluten free.

Epcot International Food & Wine Festival 2015

This afternoon, I attended the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, which started today, and runs through November 16th.

I picked up a festival passport at one of the festival shops as I headed into the World Showcase.

Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar - Disney Springs

Yesterday, I had lunch at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar, the latest addition to The Landing in Disney Springs.

The restaurant, which is described on Disney's website as a "1940s airplane hangar turned dive bar," is themed around Jock Lindsey, Indiana Jones' pilot in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Trader Joe's Chicken Tikka Masala - Frozen Meal Friday Part 2

After I picked up my girls from school, we headed to the Trader Joe's in Winter Park to check out their stock of pumpkin products.  I saw two favorites from last year, pumpkin butter and gluten free pumpkin pancake mix, and Pumpkin O's cereal, which I have never seen before.  I rarely eat cereal, but I bought a couple of boxes, because I wanted to try it, and thought my husband might enjoy it.

While shopping for everything pumpkin, I saw Trader Joe's Chicken Tikka Masala in the freezer section, and was happy to see the gluten free label on the front of the box.  According to their website, products that are labeled gluten free at Trader Joe's have been tested to contain less than 20 ppm of gluten.

The Plaza Restaurant - Magic Kingdom

Last Saturday, we had lunch at The Plaza Restaurant, a table service restaurant located at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom.

We love to go the Magic Kingdom in early September, because the summer crowds are gone, and the Halloween decorations are up.  We can pretend the fall is coming soon, even though the daily high temperature is still 90 degrees in September.

The BOATHOUSE - Disney Springs

Last Friday, I had lunch at The BOATHOUSE with Debbie, one of my blog readers, and a fellow celiac.

The BOATHOUSE, a signature dining restaurant, recently opened in The Landing in Downtown Disney, soon to be known as Disney Springs.  It is managed by the Gibsons Restaurant Group, so they don't have an allergy-friendly menu like restaurants that are owned and operated by Disney.  I forgot to take a picture of their menu, but you can view it on Disney's website here.

Columbia Harbour House - Magic Kingdom

Yesterday, we stopped at Columbia Harbour House, a quick service restaurant in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom, to see their new allergy-friendly menu.

Columbia Harbour House has long been my favorite restaurant for allergy-friendly chicken tenders and french fries at Disney World, and is featured in My Disney Top 10 - Quick Service blog post.  We dined there so often in the first year or two we lived in Orlando, that the managers started to recognize me when we came in.  They used to bake the chicken tenders and fries for me, and I had to wait 20 minutes, but now they have a dedicated fryer, so they only take about 5 minutes to prepare.

Pinocchio Village Haus Allergy-Friendly Menu - Magic Kingdom

Yesterday, we stopped at the four major quick service restaurants in the Magic Kingdom to check out their allergy-friendly menus, which list options for people with gluten/wheat, milk, egg, soy, fish/shellfish, and peanut/tree nut allergies.  We have not dined at Pinocchio Village Haus in Fantasyland since I started my blog two years ago, because when we are eating quick service at the Magic Kingdom, we usually go to Columbia Harbour House or Be Our Guest (lunch only).

Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe Allergy-Friendly Menu - Magic Kingdom

Earlier today, we stopped at the four major quick service restaurants in the Magic Kingdom to check out their allergy-friendly menus, which list options for people with gluten/wheat, milk, egg, soy, fish/shellfish, and peanut/tree nut allergies.  We have not dined at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland since I started my blog two years ago, because when we are eating quick service at the Magic Kingdom, we usually go to Columbia Harbour House or Be Our Guest (lunch only).

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe - Magic Kingdom

Earlier today, we stopped at the four major quick service restaurants at the Magic Kingdom to check out their allergy-friendly menus, which list options for people with gluten/wheat, milk, egg, soy, fish/shellfish, and peanut/tree nut allergies.  Our first stop was Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, which recently introduced a reimagined menu featuring Tex-Mex cuisine.

Three Broomsticks - Universal's Islands of Adventure

Earlier today, I had lunch at the Three Broomsticks, a counter service restaurant in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade at Universal's Islands of Adventure.

Before having lunch, I enjoyed a frozen Butterbeer from the cart outside, but I later regretted my impatience, because I wanted something sweet after I ate lunch.

Wendy's Frostys

Yesterday, we decided that we didn't want to spend our whole afternoon in the kitchen preparing our Labor Day dinner, so we kept it simple - mini turkey meatloaves, corn, and a tomato & cucumber salad.  For dessert, we were going to make our first cream cheese pumpkin pie of the season, but in the spirit of keeping it simple and enjoying our holiday, we went to Wendy's for Frostys.

OMG...It's Gluten Free Fudge Brownies

I am not sure where I tried my first OMG...It's Gluten Free fudge brownie at Disney World, but I think it it was either Tusker House or Columbia Harbour House.

Our favorite packaged treats at Disney World are now available at a large majority of the Disney-owned and operated quick service and table service restaurants in the theme parks and at the resorts. The brownies are certified gluten free, and are made in a peanut and tree nut free facility, but they do contain milk, soy, and egg.  You can view the ingredients in OMG...It's Gluten Free fudge brownies here.  Disney also sells OMG...It's Gluten Free dairy free chocolate chip cookies and sugar free fudge brownies.  The GF/DF chocolate chip cookies are pretty good, but I avoid the sugar free fudge brownies, because they contain maltitol.

Leaning Palms - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

Earlier today, I had lunch at Leaning Palms, a quick service restaurant at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.

Of the two water parks at Walt Disney World, my family has always preferred the theming and attractions at Blizzard Beach.  You can read my review of Lottawatta Lodge at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park here.

Five Cheese Margherita Pizza

Two years ago, I started making pizza with Chebe Original Cheese Bread Mix, which is free of gluten, soy, corn, rice, potato, yeast, peanut, tree nuts, egg, iodine, and sugar.  It is also grain free and non-GMO.  The mix contains manioc (tapioca) flour, modified manioc starch (100% manioc), dry milk, and iodine-free sea salt.  Chebe does make a pizza crust mix, but my husband and I prefer the original cheese bread mix, because it doesn't contain any herbs that affect the flavor of the pizza.  Locally, Chebe mixes are available at Chamberlin's in Winter Park, but I usually buy them from amazon.com.

If you like Brazilian cheese bread, you will love this crust, which is so easy to make.  We cook our pizza on a cast iron pizza pan, which makes for a nice firm crust that is never soggy.

Kona Cafe Lunch - Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

Last Saturday, we had lunch at Kona Cafe, a table service restaurant at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  In the past year, it has become one of our favorite restaurants for lunch at Disney World.

Kona Cafe used to have gluten free menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but they recently adopted allergy-friendly menus, which list options for people with gluten/wheat, milk, egg, soy, fish/shellfish, and peanut/tree nut allergies.
