World Premiere Food Court - Disney's All-Star Movies Resort

Today, I had lunch at the World Premiere Food Court, a quick service restaurant at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort.  For a limited time in September and October, Disney is testing allergy-friendly menus at the ABC CommissarySci-Fi Dine-In Theater, and The Hollywood Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios, Kona Cafe and Captain Cook's at the Polynesian Village Resort, the Flying Fish Cafe at Disney's BoardWalk, and the World Premiere Food Court at the All-Star Movies Resort.

I have never been to Disney's All-Star Movies Resort before, and didn't even know where it was on Disney property until today.  One thing I learned is that is located right next to Disney's All-Star Sports and All-Star Music Resorts.

I wasn't surprised to see some movies theming as I went in search of the World Premiere Food Court.

My first impression - wow, that's a lot of lights!

At the Lyric food station, I saw a manager, and asked to see the gluten free menu, which was available at the neighboring Majestic food station.  He took my order, gave me a pager, and said my food would be ready in about 10 minutes.

The new gluten free menu at the World Premiere Food Court lists the following options for lunch and dinner:

Appetizers

  • Fresh fruit cup
  • Dannon Light & Fit Yogurt
  • Market side salad
  • Greek yogurt
Entrees
  • Fresh made tossed salad with choice of grilled chicken, salmon, or London broil
  • Hamburger with a Local Oven bun and french fries
  • Hot dog served with a Local Oven bun and french fries
  • Gluten free chicken tenders and french fries
  • Udi's gluten free cheese pizza
  • Nacho supreme
  • Gluten free pasta with marinara, with a choice of grilled chicken breast or Italian _____ (I wonder if the word sausage was supposed to be after "Italian")
  • Amy's Rice Macaroni & Cheese

In addition to these dishes, the following entrees are available after 4:30:
  • Roasted turkey served with select side items and an Udi's dinner roll
  • Grilled salmon served with select side items and an Udi's dinner roll
  • Roasted half chicken served with select side items and an Udi's dinner roll
Dessert
  • OMG Chocolate Brownie
  • OMG Chocolate Chip Cookie
  • Enjoy Life Chocolate Chip Cookie
  • Select flavors of Edy's Ice Cream

As I waited for my food, I walked around to see if there were any other gluten free options.  I found fresh fruit, and some pre-packaged Disney popcorn and candy that didn't contain gluten.

For lunch, I ordered the gluten free chicken tenders and french fries, which never disappoint, no matter where I eat them on Disney property.

Both the fries and the chicken tenders were cooked perfectly, and the portion size was pretty huge.  I could have easily shared this meal with someone else, but I managed to finish it all, with the exception of a few french fries.  My friend Sarah has a list of locations where you can find these amazing allergy friendly chicken tenders on her blog Gluten-Free & Dairy-Free at WDW.  The chicken tenders are free of gluten, dairy, soy, and egg.

The World Premiere Food Court also has a gluten free breakfast menu, which lists the following options:

Appetizers
  • Fresh Fruit Cup
  • Whole fruit
  • Dannon Light & Fit Yogurt
  • Greek yogurt
Entrees
  • Bounty Platter served with gluten free Mickey waffles, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, and crispy bacon or sausage
  • Gluten free Mickey waffles (Bob's Red Mill) served with a choice of bacon, sausage, or fruit topping
  • Gluten free pancakes (Bob's Red Mill) served with a choice of bacon, sausage, or fruit topping
  • French toast (Udi's) served with bacon or sausage
  • Omelet served with breakfast potatoes
  • Scrambled eggs served with breakfast potatoes

I didn't order dessert at the World Premiere Food Court, because I knew I would be eating gluten free beignets at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, where the Orlando Celiac Support Group had their first meeting today.
