Williams-Sonoma Gluten-Free Piecrust Mix

Williams-Sonoma Gluten-Free Piecrust Mix is one of my favorite gluten free products.  It's a little pricey at $19.95 per box, but it is worth it.  Each box contains 2 packets of piecrust mix and 2 packets of dusting flour, enough for one double-crust pie or two single-crust pies.  The mix contains Cup 4 Cup Gluten Free Flour, my favorite gluten free all-purpose flour.

I first tried this piecrust mix when I made peach crostata last summer.  For crostata, I use 1 package of the piecrust mix, 1 stick of unsalted butter, 3 tablespoons of ice water, 1 egg yolk, and a little bit of the dusting flour.  It only takes me about 5 minutes to make this pie crust in my stand mixer.  It's easy to roll out and doesn't need to be put in the refrigerator after it is made.  This pie crust is not only easy to make and work with, but it's incredibly delicious too.  I love how buttery it is, and the taste and texture are exactly like a gluten-filled crust.

I also use Williams-Sonoma Gluten-Free Piecrust Mix to make raspberry crostata.  These free-form pies are so easy to make, and so delicious!

My aunt loved the apple crostata I made for her at Thanksgiving.

I recently used this piecrust mix to make mini chocolate chess pies.  I was worried about handling the dough too much while pressing it into my muffin pans, but it was easy to work with and tasted great!

Williams-Sonoma Piecrust Mix can be ordered online or purchased from Williams-Sonoma stores.  You can view their store locator here.  Locally, Williams-Sonoma stores can be found on Park Avenue in Winter Park and at the Mall at Millenia.
