Grandma's House Product Review

Before Thanksgiving, I received an awesome gift in the mail from Grandma's House

The biscuits, crumb cake, and pie crust arrived frozen in a cooler with dry ice.

We had the crumb cake for breakfast yesterday, and all of us were really impressed.

It baked up beautifully in just 40 minutes.  It was the perfect portion for the four of us for breakfast.

I used the gluten free pie crust to make our new favorite, Chocolate Chess Pie

It was much more substantial than the Whole Foods Gluten Free Bakehouse Pie Crust that we usually use.  This pie crust could easily be used for more savory dishes, like quiche, because it is only slightly sweet.

We loved all the products we were sent, but our favorite was definitely Grandma's House Gluten Free Home Style Biscuits.

My whole family of gluten eaters, including my uncle, said there was no way anyone would be able to tell they were gluten free.  The texture and taste were just perfect!  I'm getting hungry just thinking about one of these hot biscuits slathered in butter!

Grandma's House is currently available in retail locations in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Illinois.  You can check out their online store here.  I hope to see Grandma's House products in Florida at some point in the future.  We would definitely be eating their biscuits at least once a week if they were available locally.  I love that their products are frozen before they are baked, so you get that home made taste, instead of the taste of reheated food.

All of the opinions expressed in this blog post are my own.  I received these products as a gift from Grandma's House, no strings attached.  I am so glad they chose me to test out their shipping methods, because their products are really delicious!
