Columbia Harbour House - Disney's Magic Kingdom

In July, my daughters and I had lunch at Columbia Harbour House, one of our favorite quick service restaurants at Disney's Magic Kingdom.

I love that I can mobile order my food in the My Disney Experience app, and skip the long lines at the restaurant.

Just choose the option to order food in the app, and select a restaurant.

To see allergy-friendly options on Columbia Harbour House's menu, I had to click on See All Categories.

Choose the Allergy-Friendly icon, then gluten/wheat allergy-friendly.

If you have more than one food restriction, you cannot mobile order at Disney World or Disneyland. If you have anaphylactic reactions to food, or more than one allergy, you should ask to speak to a manager.

I feel comfortable mobile ordering at Disney World and Disneyland with celiac disease. I always check with the manager when my food is delivered to make sure that all of my food is gluten free.

My daughters and I love to dine at Columbia Harbour House and Pinocchio Village Haus, because they carry the best chicken nuggets I have had since my celiac diagnosis 11 years ago.

Other quick service restaurants at Disney World sell a brand of chicken tenders that I have never enjoyed. You can read more about the chicken nuggets sold at Columbia Harbour House and Pinocchio Village Haus on the manufacturer's website. My friend Sarah from Gluten-Free & Dairy-Free at WDW has a photo of the ingredients in her review here

One cool feature with mobile ordering is that you can order your food earlier in the day, then go back into the app later to have the restaurant prepare your order.

I have always found the wait time to be pretty short when I mobile order. It usually takes about 10 minutes to prepare my food.

The app will let you know when your order is ready, but I like to stand near the mobile order pick-up area, so I can talk to the manager or chef delivering my food.

My daughters, who do not need to eat gluten free, love the allergy-friendly chicken breast nuggets, so we ordered two of them with french fries to share. Our food arrived on a green tray, which signifies that it is an allergy order.

The french fries were good, but we came for Columbia Harbour House's amazing chicken nuggets. The breading to chicken ratio is perfect, and the breading itself is super crunchy. We all love to dip our fries and chicken nuggets in ketchup.

After stuffing myself full of chicken nuggets and fries, I decided that I needed something sweet, so I mobile ordered an allergy-friendly brownie. Disney World used to carry OMG...It's Gluten Free Fudge Brownies, which I loved, but now they are selling Sweet Street brownies.

Being a fan of OMG's amazingly fudgy brownies, I was convinced that I would be disappointed in the Sweet Street brownie I bought, but my daughters and I loved it.

My girls originally said they did not want to share my brownie with me, but once they tried it, they came back for more.

We try to eat the chicken nuggets at Columbia Harbour House or Pinocchio Village Haus at least once every time we visit Disney World. You can read more about Pinocchio Village Haus here. If you are interested in a healthier option at Columbia Harbour House, try the grilled salmon with vegetables. The salmon and green beans are good, but I love the chicken nuggets too much to pass them up.

You can read more about Columbia Harbour House, and view their menu and hours on Disney's website.
