P*DE*Q Chocolate Brazilian Cheese Bread

When my husband had his job interview in California over Spring Break, we stopped at Nob Hill Foods in Watsonville to check out their selection of gluten free products.  I was excited to find P*DE*Q chocolate Brazilian cheese bread in the freezer section, but I could not buy it that day, because I had no way to cook it while we were in California, or take it back to Orlando.

After we moved to California, my first grocery stop was Nob Hill Foods, where I bought a bag of P*DE*Q chocolate Brazilian cheese bread.

A couple of weeks ago, we served it as a side dish with pasta for dinner., eating it more towards the end of our meal, so it served double duty as a dessert.  This morning, my daughters and I had chocolate Brazilian cheese bread for breakfast with some fresh fruit.  I followed the directions on the package, baking it for 31 minutes on a parchment covered baking sheet.  I have tried several new gluten free products in the last month, and this one is by far my favorite.  My entire family loves P*DE*Q chocolate Brazilian cheese bread, which has just the right amount of chocolate, and it is not overly sweet.  It gets a little bit crispy on the outside, but it is soft and light on the inside.  Our chocolate Brazilian cheese bread would have been great served with scrambled eggs this morning, but I never got around to making that part of our breakfast before it was done baking.

Like me, you might be thinking that chocolate and cheese do not go together, but you cannot taste the mozzarella cheese in the bread, which is gluten and grain free.

You can check out P*DE*Q's store locator on their website here.  Costco is one of the retailers that carries their products.

Have you tried P*DE*Q Chocolate Brazilian Cheese Bread?
