Liberty Inn - Epcot

Earlier today, my daughters and I had lunch at Liberty Inn at the American Adventure Pavilion in Epcot.

Liberty Inn is a quick service restaurant featuring American favorites, like burgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, steak and salads.

All the windows make for a light and bright restaurant, and there is a good amount of seating both indoors and outdoors.

We have eaten at Liberty Inn several times since we moved to Orlando, but this was my first visit since starting this blog.  I was hoping they would have one of the new allergy-friendly menus Disney is rolling out between April and September, but they currently do not, so I spoke to a manager who made my food after she took my order.

The manager told me that I could have chicken tenders, mac & cheese, a hamburger, or a hotdog.  I asked her about the New York Strip Steak, which she said she could make for me, minus the demi butter.  She told me that it would be broiled, which meant that it would probably be medium or medium well.  This meal is usually served with french fries and steamed broccoli, but they were out of broccoli.  The steak was cooked well, and was surprisingly flavorful.  The fries were great, but I was looking forward to having a green vegetable with my meal.

My gluten-eating daughters split an adult order of the allergy-friendly chicken tenders.  They told me they like the gluten free chicken tenders better than Disney's chicken nuggets, because the breading and seasoning are better, and the chicken is less greasy.

For dessert, Liberty Inn had gluten free cookies and OMG...It's Gluten Free Sugar Free Fudge Brownies.  I love the regular OMG...It's Gluten Free Fudge Brownies, but I don't eat the sugar free ones, so we had dessert at the France Pavilion.  Emma had a strawberry macaron ice cream sandwich at L'Artisan des Glaces, and Katie and I had dessert at Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie.  I had my favorite dessert there, the Parfait aux Fruits, which is yogurt mousse with berries.

Overall, we enjoyed our lunch at Liberty Inn, which is my favorite quick service restaurant at Epcot for allergy-friendly chicken tenders.

Allergy-friendly options at Liberty Inn are now listed on Disney's website here, and you can mobile order using the My Disney Experience app.
