The Greater Knead Bagels & Bagel Chips

October 5, 2021 Update - The Greater Knead now makes 12 varieties of bagels, and classic, cinnamon sugar, and everything soft pretzel nuggets.

Three years ago, I discovered Sweet Note gluten free New York style bagels, the best bagels I have had since my celiac diagnosis. Sweet Note is now known as The Greater Knead, and recently started making gluten free bagel chips, so I decided it was time to write a new review of their amazing products.

The Greater Knead makes three types of bagel chips - plain, everything, and cinnamon raisin. The first time I ordered them online, I chose the 3 variety chip cups, so I could try them all.  All products from The Greater Knead are made in a dedicated facility, and are free of the top 12 common allergens - wheat (gluten), dairy, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, egg, fish, shellfish, corn, sesame, mustard and oats.  They are also non-GMO.

The cinnamon raisin are my favorite, even though I am not a fan of raisins.  I recently ordered a box of 36 cups, which are the best value with their free shipping.

They are good eaten on their own, but they are incredible with a little bit of whipped butter on top.  I sometimes eat two cups of them for breakfast, with some yogurt and fresh fruit.  I also like to eat them when I am craving bread during lunch or dinner, and they make a great snack.

The plain and everything bagel chips are great too, and all three flavors are perfect to take on road trips, or pack in school lunches.

Sadly, I am not able to buy The Greater Knead products locally, but you can check their store locator here.  Shortly after we moved to California, I ordered some plain and french toast bagels.

I like to defrost them for 90 seconds in the microwave before cutting and toasting them.  My favorite way to eat both flavors is with a little bit of cinnamon sugar and a lot of whipped butter.

The Great Knead also makes everything, cinnamon raisin, poppy, pumpkin spice, blueberry, onion, unicorn, tomato basil, salt, and garlic bagels.  I love that their bagels taste like real bagels, and not bread in the shape of a bagel like all the other gluten free bagels I have tried.

You can read more about The Greater Knead, and order their bagels and bagel chips on their website here.

What are your favorite The Greater Knead products?

  1. I LOVE The Greater Knead! I order online from them, and their customer service is so awesome/super friendly. I highly recommend the Garlic bagels, Onion bagels, Tomato Basil bagels, and Blueberry bagels. More than worth the shipping price. Glad you got to try the products as well!

    1. I can't wait to try some of their other flavors, like pumpkin and blueberry. Thanks for the recommendations!
