Tutto Italia Ristorante - Epcot

On Saturday night, we had dinner at Tutto Italia Ristorante in the Italy Pavilion at Epcot.

Tutto Italia, a table service restaurant, is not Disney owned and operated, so it does not have an allergy-friendly menu like so many restaurants at Disney World, but they do have a menu that lists gluten-friendly dishes.

As soon as we were seated, a manager came over to discuss gluten free options with me.

She told me that there are many options on the regular menu that are naturally gluten free, or can be modified to be gluten free. I have highlighted them in the photos.

The manager told me to not eat the bread that my gluten-eating daughters would be served, and that she would bring me a plate of gluten free bread. It was very good with some butter and olive oil.

For an entree, I ordered the Risotto con Gamberi with lemon shrimp and lobster butter.

I was a little concerned when I saw all the butter around the edges of my plate, but there was nothing not to love about this dish. The shrimp tasted fresh, the risotto was cooked perfectly, and the lobster butter was heavenly.

I usually order panna cotta for dessert at Tutto Italia, but the flavor recently changed to espresso. I love the taste of coffee, but I did not want to ingest any caffeine, because it was the last night of our trip, and we had an early flight back to California in the morning. A different manager came to talk to me about dessert options, and I am pretty sure she said she was the allergy manager. I was told that all the sorbet and gelato flavors were gluten free, so I decided to get the stracciatella (chocolate chip) gelato, and asked if I could have the gluten free biscotti that would have been served with the panna cotta. The gelato was not as good as the gelato we had in Italy last summer, but I enjoyed it, and the chocolate biscotti was so good, I found myself wishing I had a few more.

Overall, we loved our meals and the service at Tutto Italia, and look forward to returning again soon. This was by far our best service experience during our 8-night trip to Disney World. Our server Paolo was super sweet, and the managers came to help me without my even asking. My gluten-eating daughters ordered the pasta with lamb ragu, and shared a ricotta cheesecake for dessert. Last summer, we ate at neighboring Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar, where I have always been able to order off the Tutto Italia gluten-friendly menu. You can read my review of Tutto Gusto here.
