BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

We recently had dinner at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Oviedo.  Locally, they also have restaurants near the Mall at Millenia, on International Drive, and in Kissimmee and Lake Buena Vista.

BJ's has a pretty extensive gluten free menu, which you can view online here.

Gluten free options include salads, soups, specialty entrees, pizza, stuffed potatoes, and several desserts.

BJ's also offers gluten free beer and ciders.

I considered ordering the gluten free pizza, which was recommended to me by several of my blog readers, but I chose the balsamic glazed chicken served with white cheddar mashed potatoes and baby field greens.

The chicken was so incredibly tender and moist, and I loved the drizzle of sweet balsamic glaze on top.  The white cheddar mashed potatoes were also delicious, making this dish an A+ in my book.  I would have a hard time passing it up on future visits.

For dessert, my daughters and I shared a Pizookie Trio.  They both ordered the gluten-filled cookies 'n' cream, while I had my gluten free chocolate chip served on a separate plate.  Each pizookie was served with its own scoop of vanilla ice cream.  It's so nice to be able to go to a restaurant and order a warm cookie with ice cream on top.  I enjoyed it, but found it to be a little too sweet, but my husband, who sampled a few bites, disagreed with me.

You can read more about BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, and view their restaurant locator and menu on their website here.

What are your favorite gluten free options at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse?

  1. The broccoli cheddar soup is amazing. You can get a cup of soup with a 1/2 baked potato for an awesome meal. There are no BJs restaurants near my house and this is a favorite must have when I am on vacation.
