On our recent trip to Disneyland, I stopped at Flo's V8 Cafe, a quick service restaurant in Disney California Adventure Park.

I have never actually eaten a meal at Flo's V8 Cafe, but I love to order their milkshakes.

Tortilla Jo's - Disneyland Resort

Over Christmas Break, we had lunch and dinner at Tortilla Jo's in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.

Tortilla Jo's, which is owned and operated by the Patina Group, has become my favorite table service restaurant at Disneyland, because of their great food, great drinks, and great service.

Blue Bayou Restaurant - Disneyland Park

Over Christmas Break, we had dinner at Blue Bayou Restaurant, a table service restaurant in New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park.

Blue Bayou features Creole and Cajun cuisine, and you get to dine in the perpetual twilight of the bayou overlooking Pirates of the Caribbean.

Cafe Orleans - Disneyland Park

Over Christmas Break, we had lunch at Cafe Orleans, a table service restaurant in Disneyland Park.  I have to admit that I was a bit anxious going into this dining experience for a variety of reasons.

Fantasmic! On The Go Package at Hungry Bear Restaurant - Disneyland Park

Over Christmas Break, we spent six nights at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.  Last year, we stayed off property, but this year, I decided to splurge on everything.  We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, which we all loved, bought 5-Day Park Hopper Tickets, purchased Disney MaxPass every day, which allows you to get fastpasses and free photo downloads in your Disneyland app, and we booked dining packages for World of Color and Fantasmic.

Fantasmic dining packages are available for two table service restaurants, Blue Bayou Restaurant and River Belle Terrace, where you get a 3-course meal, but I was concerned that my daughters would not be able to eat that much food, so I chose the Fantasmic! On The Go Package at Hungry Bear Restaurant, a quick service restaurant at Disneyland Park.

Grand Floridian Cafe - Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Over Thanksgiving Break, we had breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe, a table service restaurant at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

The Grand Floridian Cafe used to be one of our favorite restaurants at Disney World, but after a few not so great experiences with food and service, we did not return for a while.  Their allergy-friendly menu had a mix of breakfast and lunch items to choose from when we dined there.

Carnation Cafe - Disneyland Park

On New Year's Day, we had breakfast at Carnation Cafe on Main Street U.S.A. at Disneyland Park.  I made advance dining reservations for 10:20, so we could ride some of our favorite attractions before the park got too crowded.

Gluten-friendly breakfast options include the pancake breakfast, Classic Eggs Benedict, Oscar's Choice: All-American Breakfast, Mickey-shaped waffles, ham and cheese omelet, spinach and tomato egg white frittata, and sides of hickory-smoked bacon, sausage links, and seasonal fruit. Fatamorgana Gelato - Los Angeles, California

On our drive home from Disneyland yesterday, we stopped at Fatamorgana Gelato in Studio City.

The founder of Fatamorgana Gelato has celiac disease, so everything in the shop is 100% gluten free.

Smokejumpers Grill - Disney California Adventure Park

Earlier today, we had lunch at Smokejumpers Grill, a quick service restaurant in Disney California Adventure Park.

I never order hamburgers at quick service restaurants at Disney World or Disneyland, but I had heard that Smokejumpers Grill makes an amazing gluten free hamburger, so I decided to give it a try.

Trattoria al Forno Dinner - Disney's BoardWalk

Over Thanksgiving Break, my family had dinner at Trattoria al Forno, a table service restaurant on Disney's BoardWalk.  Trattoria al Forno, which serves Italian cuisine, has been one of our favorite restaurants at Disney World since it opened.  It is a short walk from the back entrance of Epcot, which is located between the United Kingdom and France pavilions.

Trattoria al Forno uses gluten free breadcrumbs in all of their dishes, which means that fried calamari, meatballs, and chicken Parmesan are all safe options.  Most allergy-friendly menus at Disney World will only include dishes that meet the standard of being safe for at least four allergies.  If you see a dish you are interested in on the regular menu, and it is not on the allergy-friendly menu, have your server check for you or ask to speak to a chef.
